Fun!

I was super happy with this outfit! This skirt makes me really happy, the pockets are on the outside and it has such fullness that I love it to bits. Green seems to be a super flattering colour on me, and the candyness of this necklace is delightful. Skirt, Dex Tank, Republique Sandals, Impanema Necklace, gift from Lady Jane Later in the week, I dug out my awesome knit Urban Outfitters dress and tossed it on over an H&M slip, but the photo is super, super blurry. It is here.       Continue reading Fun!

Blurryish

I changed camera settings. It did nothing of value. This may be what I wore to HP8: DH2, which I loveloveloved. 97% is totally accurate. There are a few things that irked me, things which were de-emphasized which really affected me when I read the book, but all in all I was really happy with the close of the series. I’ll miss it hard, though! I wore: Joe Fresh skirt & cardi, Ardene tank, Ipanema sandals, bracelet & necklace, gifts from lauren Continue reading Blurryish

Bright Sweater

Still too hot, still wearing few items. Still waiting for this summer thing to end. Also, very tired. I love this dress, though. It’s comfortable and looks frigging awesome, if I may say. I topped up my hair and am again super happy with it. Look at how vibrant that pink/red is! Love love love. Summer.

It is too warm. Too. Warm. I’ve been wearing basically only easy dresses and sandals. I’ve found that my hair is long enough in the back to make a tiny bun with! I love tiny buns! I’m looking forward to it growing out completely, a lot. Buns and braids and ponytails will be worn, and I will be thrilled. The house progress is stalled. I’ve not really been home a lot, with it being summer and the out-of-doors calling, it’s hard to coax people to come over to help me plug holes in walls. Especially when I have nothing to … Continue reading Summer.

glamour

I was told a few times that my dress was ‘glamorous’. I argue that it is just a dress, but I must admit I felt a little fabulous. The fall of this fabric is pretty ace, and I love the cut. I`m all greasy, because it was chiro / masso day, and I hate what it does to my hair. I love what it does to my back pain, don’t get me wrong, but I do wish I could shower in the middle of the day. The colour is once again fading like crazy, I’m not sure what to do … Continue reading glamour

Rough Quality

Past few photos, the camera has decided it didn’t want to take pictures that actually look okay. I decided today what I want to do with my house! Decor-wise, that is. Pink. Pink and grey and wood. Paint colours will be chosen, the fridge will be made pink, and ideally most things will be white or grey besides. I’m excited! Both this skirt and tee are gifts from my sister, which I think she picked up at Ardene, of all places. The shoes are my Impanema sandals, because I have not yet unpacked shoes. The move is going well, though. I’ve … Continue reading Rough Quality

Moved.

I moved house over the weekend! It was pretty great. I am exploring the new neighbourhood and getting to know the place, thinking about decor, painting, and curtains. Not usually one for such things, but I quite like this new home, and think I may consider staying – maybe for more than a year! We shall see.   My moving outfits are all pretty laid back and plain, though I was very comfortable. Summer comes to Montreal in July, so it has been excruciatingly hot, and light, airy dresses have been the way to go. On the first, though, it … Continue reading Moved.

First day at work with two-tone hair means a slightly more conservative dress. It is also the last of my things to pack since I keep meaning to wear it and then not wearing it. Since everything else is packed, though, there are no adornments to speak of. This saddens me. I longed for a bracelet. Dress, Marc Shoes (not shown) MUDD heels at work, Spring flats to get there. Weekend, Continues

I’m living out of one single box, at the moment. My shelf is down, so I had to balance the camera on my kitchen counter, which worked out better than expected, though I was pretty convinced it was going to fall into the sink. It’s waterproof, so that’s fine, in theory, but I would have panicked for a few before I remembered that. So, I’ve left out a set number of outfits, and shampoo, and toothpaste, and that’s about it. Fridge is unplugged, house is being bleached for the next folk, and I’m really looking forward to being in the … Continue reading Weekend, Continues
