This isn’t a cape in the strictest sense. It’s a skirt. A skirt I’m wearing as a cape/poncho thing. Since I don’t like the word “poncho”, though, it’s a cape. I don’t know that you can see it, but this necklace is so dainty and lovely. I think the length of it combined with the cape felt a bit 70sish. Cape Week continued on Monday with the blue handknit capelet from Shiovawn. I adore this capelet. It’s soft and light and warm and amazing. I had a terrible day, Mondays aren’t for me anymore, it seems. The day started with the nice leftover weekend joy and trickled off until I was absolutely miserable. Most unfortunate. Back from my second visit to Chop Shop! I’m so, so, so happy with the results. I asked for a fauxhawk that I could still go to work in, and it definitely is both of those.
