Spent father’s day with my dad and nephew, (and sister, but she’s less important. Hi Brit!). Nephew played with my dad’s dog, BOSS, and was generally adorable, the way he is. I’m in love with this dress. I feel like a princess. I almost never wear pale colours, but the shape of this dress was such that I had to at least try it on, and I’m glad I did. It fits perfectly! For a mutual friend’s awesome birthday, Lauren and I went for dinner and dancing (well, I went dancing, Lauren was too old / tired). My new glasses came! I LOVE these so much. I don’t care that they are a wee bit on the large size for my face, they are hot pink, zebra print, cat eyes! I didn’t know that the order would be coming, so my outfit was not matchy-matchy on purpose, but it looked awesome in the end. So pleased! It’s meant to be like 35 degrees with the humidex, so I’m as scantly clad as possible while remaining somewhat professional like. As well, these shoes, are my favourite shoes ever. I’m off to the NKOTBSB concert tonight (as of writing, not posting, this isn’t scheduled til next week)! So excited. I realize this makes me ridiculous. I’m fine with it. You can see the purple more clearly in the hair today. I’m less keen on the colour in life, though, it seems to have dulled somewhat, sortof a greyish purple. You can’t really tell, unfortch, but my hair is purple. Manic Panic Ultraviolet, more precisely. It’s pretty cute in person. I spent hours on Sunday stripping and bleaching and colouring, only to end up with multicoloured grey, lavendar, red(?!), brown, and black messes on my head, but Monday morning I did a second coat of UV and it’s pretty sweet. It’s not half as bright as I would like, more of a dull lavendar than an electric purple, but it’s cute and different and therefore I am happy with it.
